Orbitron - Translations

1. Check translation status table at the bottom of this page to make sure that your language is really unavailable and translation is not under construction.
2. Send me an email with information that you want to translate Orbitron to your language.
3. Make sure that you have installed latest Orbitron release or latest beta version.
4. Download latest Translator application from Downloads page.
5. Launch Translator application, you are ready to start your work...
6. When you finish your work please use PUBLISH wizard.

1. Install new Orbitron version and new Translator (if released).
2. Launch Translator application.
3. Make sure that Translator loads Base file from new Orbitron.
4. Load your translation.
5. Use "CHECK" or "FIND NEXT TO DO" functions to find new (untranslated) items.
6. After translating please use PUBLISH wizard.

1. Download file http://www.stoff.pl/orbitron/lang/eng.txt.
2. Open it with plain text (ASCII) editor, like Notepad or Wordpad.
3. Exchange english items to translated as it is described in eng.txt.

When your translation is finished, please use Check function in Translator to make sure that everything is ok. Please also take a look at your work to find any shortcomings. When you are ready, please use PUBLISH wizard and send me translation (ZIP archive is prefered).

Any time you find mistake in your translation, please fix it and send me corrected file.

Documentation translating is hard thing to do, so its optional. If you have time and/or just want to make any help in your language you can do it. Such files will be published on Orbitron homepage. But not only translation of Orbitron help files are wanted. You can prepare any manual in DOC/PDF or any other format to make Orbitron more easy for users speaking you language.

Inno Setup is used as Orbitron installer. So, Orbitron installation is provided in your language only if Inno Setup is also translated into it. If there is no translation (of Inno Setup) for your language (e.g. Arabic, Afrikaans), installation is provided in English language. Please remember that every one is invited by Inno Setup author to translate it! For more details please go to www.innosetup.com.

As user, you can find bugs in translation or you may not be satisfied by translation quality. In that case, please send email to me and to translation author. Your comments and suggestions are welcome.
